Ethridge Fire Department responded to a structure fire in summertown on Monday night.

On Monday night at approximately 7:28 p.m. Lawrence County Fire and rescue units were dispatched to North Old military Road in summertown for reporting structure fire.

First arriving Cruise reported visible fire from the b-corner of the residence. Firefighters made an aggressive interior attack and we're able to quickly bring the fire under control.

Fortunately no occupants were home at the time of the incident.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
