
Earlier this month, the Office of Inspector General announced the conviction of 77-year-old Annette Reynolds of Pulaski. According to WKSR, Reynolds illegally sold her prescribed Oxycodone on two occasions, with the medication paid for through her TennCare benefits.
Reynolds pleaded guilty to two counts of TennCare Fraud, a Class D felony, and two counts of selling a Schedule II controlled substance, a Class C felony. She was sentenced to one year of GPS-monitored house arrest, followed by nine years of supervised probation with the Tennessee Department of Correction. She also must pay court costs and a total fine of $4,000.
The case was prosecuted by District Attorney General Brent Cooper, with assistance from Assistant District Attorney Rebecca S. Parsons.
