Breaking News: Traffic alert from the Maury County Fire Department where Pulaski Highway is currently closed due to a motor vehicle accident.

 

The Maury County Fire Department just released a traffic alert shortly after 10:00 a.m. where a motor vehicle accident has temporarily closed Pulaski Highway at Covey Hollow Road.

The accident has caused a power pole and lines to fall across the roadway where authorities are asking motorists to find an alternate route through Culleoka or Campbelsville Pike, and to avoid the area if possible.

There has been no further details released regarding injuries, but the roadway has been reported to be closed for approximately the next 2 hours.
