Burglar Leaves Muddy Footprints On Bed
A Lawrenceburg man said Monday that he had returned to his home to find that a burglar had climbed through a window, leaving muddy footprints on his bed.
Officers with the Lawrenceburg Police Department were dispatched to the Evans Drive home shortly before 1:00 p.m.
The resident reported that sometime during the weekend or Monday night someone had gained entry to his home through a back window, leaving muddy footprints on his bed.
Once inside, the culprit smashed an air return vent then stole a 65” LG television and a 40” LG television along with an Xbox 360 game system and an orange metal toolbox filled with tools. Total loss was estimated to be $2,000.
The matter currently remains under investigation through the department’s Criminal Investigation Division.
