A Lawrenceburg police officer was flagged down by a local business owner who had captured thieves on his surveillance camera.

 

A Lawrenceburg police officer was on patrol in the area of 1st and 2nd Street when he was flagged down by a local business owner of a nearby consignment store who told the officer that he had captured on his surveillance camera items being stolen from his business.

The items missing were reported as a furniture dolly, and a 6ft ladder as well as several other items that had been stolen weeks prior that were located on the back porch scheduled to be taken to God's Store House with a reported loss of $250.

The business owner was able to caputure on his surveillance the tag number of the vehicle driven by the individuals responsible along with a potential identification of the theives.

At the time of the report there had been no arrest made pending further investigation.
