Tennessee photographers have a chance for their work to be featured in an annual wildlife calendar and earn some cash too.

The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is now accepting entries into its annual photo contest. Select images of native Tennessee wildlife species will be featured in the August 2026- July 2027 Tennessee Wildlife magazine calendar and on its license cards.
The deadline to submit photos is March 20, 2026.
Photographers can submit up to 10 photos that meet the following requirements:
Horizontal (landscape)
In JPEG format
Sized to print no smaller than 8.5 x 11 inches
Resolution of at least 300 pixels/inch
Below is a photo of the 2025-26 calendar cover winner.
Photographers whose photos are selected for the calendar edition will receive a $60 cash stipend.
Additional photos may be used in other TWRA publications, on the TWRA website and on social media. According to the TWRA, payments range from $12.50 to $60.
