The 22nd Judicial Drug Task Force along with Lawrence County Sheriff's deputies went undercover for a Meth bust where the officer was identified as a cop by one of the suspects.

 

The 22nd Judicial Drug Task Force along with Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies conducted an undercover drug deal on Monday where the agent, and a confidential informant were buying meth.

The undercover agent was buying meth from well known drug dealer David Jackson, 37, where the agent handed the money to Jackson, and he retreated to a Chevy Tahoe nearby to retrieve the drugs.

The occupants inside the Tahoe where 21 year old Chandler Pigg, and 28 year old Haley Thompson were once Jackson reached the vehicle one of the suspects identified the undercover agent as a cop.

Jackson then returned to the undercover agents vehicle where an argument began, and that's when the agent called for backup before taking down Jackson.

Pigg, and Thompson immediately sped away in the Tahoe attempting to flee the scene where they were quickly apprehended by nearby agents.

After all three suspects were apprehended agents seized over $1,300 in cash along with two ounces of Methamphetamine where some of the drugs was found on the female subject while being booked into the jail.

The three suspects are all facing multiple felony charges which include evading arrest, and possession of methamphetamine for resale.
