On 12/11/2024 at approximately 5:33 PM Lawrence County Fire Rescue units were dispatched to the area of Highway 43 South and Lambs Ferry Road for a report of a motor vehicle crash with one patient pinned in a vehicle
First responding LCFR units arrived on the scene to find a two vehicle crash with heavily damaged vehicles. It was confirmed that one patient was pinned in the vehicle. Fire units began extrication and patient care. Lawrence County EMS then arrived on scene to assume patient care.
Two air medical helicopters responded to the scene for patient transport to definitive care. The incident scene was cleared and the roadway was reopened at 7:41 PM. The crash investigation was conducted by the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
The responding LCFR Stations were Leoma, Center Point, and Crossroads. Lawrence County EMA also assisted.
