On December 10th, 2025 Lawrence County fire rescue personnel responded to the following calls for service in a 12-hour time period.

An unresponsive person / CPR in progress.

A reported fire in a healthcare facility.

A motor vehicle crash with entrapment.

A high priority medical emergency at a school.

A large brush fire.

Four of the five calls for service occurred during the daytime hours with many of our volunteers are unavailable due to their primary jobs.

Each call received an immediate and appropriate response. Our new working relationship and new deployment strategies are definitely making strides and improving public safety.
