Man shot, killed in Napier area

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Metro Nashville Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting in the Napier area.

Police said a man was shot and killed while riding a mini motorbike near the intersection of Fain Street and Fairfield Avenue just after 11:30 p.m. on Saturday.

The man, who has not been identified yet, was found on the right side of Fain Street next to his motorbike with multiple gunshot wounds.

He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he died.

Police said the medical examiner’s office is working to identify the man through his fingerprints.
