Lawrence County Tennessee Veterans scam alert.

Lawrence County Tennessee Government have been made aware that local veterans are receiving postcards urging them to call a number and apply for extra money.

These postcards are not from the VA and are part of a scam. Please do not call the number or share any personal information.

Our veterans service offices already stopped several veterans from becoming victims, but we need your help spreading the word.

If you or someone you know receives this postcard is shown please discarded immediately. An example of the postcard is shown in this photo.
