Pennsylvania Resident Arrested On Drug Charges During Traffic Stop
Drug charges were issued against a Pennsylvania man Tuesday after he approached an officer who was in the process of conducting a traffic stop.
Reports filed through the Lawrenceburg Police Department show that Scott Lewis Green, age 56, was booked through the Lawrence County Detention Center on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The officer reports that he was conducting the traffic stop just off of East Gaines Street when approached by Green. Green told him he wished to discuss an unrelated matter.
The officer reported that Green had a strong odor of marijuana about his person. Inside Green’s car he reports finding 20 ½ grams of marijuana along with plastic bags and rolling papers. The contraband was seized along with Green’s vehicle
Green was incarcerated under a bond of $11,000. He is scheduled to answer the charges in Lawrence County General Sessions Court on January 3, 2014.
