Lawrence County deputy was dispatched to a residence after multiple gun shots were fired into the home.
Upon arriving home, the resident found their back door was shot multiple times as well as the fridge with holes penetrating completely through. Multiple shots had gone completely through the fridge and cabinets into the next room.
After gathering evidence of the ammo, the deputy went to the next-door neighbor to ask if they knew about the shooting incident. The neighbor informed police he was shooting firearms earlier that day in the field and showed he was aiming towards 3 cardboard boxes.
The angle of the targets and positioning of the rifles lined up perfectly to the residence home that was shot at.
The individual was advised to use firearms with caution and then taken into custody and charged with Reckless Endangerment and transported to Lawrence County Jail. Both firearms used were seized and placed into evidence.
