Lawrenceburg police officers were dispatched in reference to a violation of a protection order where a female victim's ex boyfriend had entered her residence, and assaulted her.
Lawrenceburg police officers were dispatched to a residence on Abernathy Street where a female victim had fled to a neighbor's house after her ex boyfriend had violated a protection order, and had entered her home on Stephens Street.
Officers followed the victim back to her residence where she stated that she was asleep in her living when she heard her ex boyfriend enter her home, and began throwing her belongings where he hit her with an object.
The victim stated that she grabbed a hammer to protect herself so she could leave her residence, and flee to the neighbor's property to call for help.
Multiple officers were unable to locate the ex boyfriend after canvassing the area where warrants against him was issued for aggravated burglary, aggravated assault, and violation of protection order.
