Mickey Dunn was honored at Lawrence County High School's Tuesday night game where the Gymnasium court was named after the former principal, coach, and mentor.

 

At Lawrence County High School on Tuesday night while a game was being held against Giles County many residents came to show their support for a man who has impacted many lives within the community.

Between games a naming ceremony took place where the Ralph Benson Memorial Gymnasium Court was named the "Mickey Dunn Court" in honor of former principal, assistant principal, coach, and mentor Mickey Dunn.

Mickey Dunn is a man who has given the community 44 years of service from 1974 till 2018 as well as holding the 2nd longest tenured as a principal in the school's 111 year history where he was a principal at Lawrence County High School for 16 1/2 years from 1991 till 2018.

The "Mickey Dunn Memorial Court" is the perfect way to honor a man who has given so much to his community, and changed many lives.
