Items Stolen From Resident’s Vehicle
An investigation was initiated Thursday after a Summertown man discovered that several items had been stolen out of his vehicle.
The victim, age 59, reported he had left his work truck parked at the Highway 43 North address overnight. Missing were a tool pouch containing several items along with a wrench set, torch and a vacuum pump.
The victim told deputies that the doors had been left unlocked and the perpetrator had rummaged about inside the cab area if the truck.
Loss is estimated to total $850. The matter currently remains under investigation.
