Lawrenceburg police officers were dispatched to Ricky B's with reports of a local woman committing fraud.

 

Lawrenceburg police officers arrived at Ricky B's on West Gaines Street where they spoke with employees who stated that a female subject had cashed a $500 check from her parents in which the same female had done this on several occasions before with each check being approved.

On this incident though employees discovered that a hold had been placed on the check, and after speaking with the female subject's parents found out that the check had been stolen from them where their daughter did not have permission to cash the check.

The parents told officers that they had already filed a report regarding the stolen check, but that their daughter was in jail for unrelated charges.
