Alabama man tragically died on Tuesday in a tractor accident.

 

 

According to reports from Lauderdale County Coroner Butch Tucker on Tuesday, the victim identified as 79-year-old Larry Comer, was killed when a tractor rolled over on top of him.

The accident occurred around 3:00 p.m. on Lauderdale Road 33 in Killen where Comer was driving his tractor along the edge of a creek bank when suddenly a rear wheel slipped into the creek, causing the tractor to roll over and crush Comer.

There was another man at the property when the incident happened, but he was unable to get the tractor off of Comer so he called authorities.
