Lawrenceburg police officers were dispatched in reference to reports of threats being made that resulted in one local man having warrants issued for aggravated assault, and interfering with emergency calls.

 

 

Lawrenceburg police officers were dispatched to a residence on Highway 43 North with reference to a female victim calling 911 after her boyfriend had threatened her where dispatch reported that the call with the victim was lost while the assault was taking place.

Upon arrival officers spoke with the female victim who stated that an altercation occurred with her boyfriend after he refused to give the car keys to her then proceeded to get in the victim's face, choke her, push her, and then take her phone while she was speaking with dispatch then fled the scene with the victims phone.

Officers issued warrants for the boyfriend on charges of aggravated assault ( domestic ), and interference with emergency calls.
