Ethridge Police Department along with Agents with the FBI recovered a large part of a Civil War Artifacts Collection that was originally stolen in 1978.

 

 

According to the Ethridge Police Department on October 29th 2020 their department along with Agents with the FBI recovered a large part of a Civil War Artifacts Collection that was stolen out of Nashville, Tennessee on September 29th, 1978.

The artifacts recovered were valued between $45,000 and $50,000 that was originally stolen from the home of Herb Peck JR which was the largest Civil War collection ever recorded stolen with the collection being valued between $500,000 and $750,000.

The Ethridge Police Department reported that Information gathered lead FBI agents to recover more of this Civil War collection in another city in Tennessee.
