Maury County Fire Department responded to a BARN fire.

On Monday 11/10 at 12:38PM units responded to a reported barn fire on Tindell Lane. One of our engine companies was in the process of moving up to Spring Hill for coverage while they worked a fire at an apartment complex when this call was dispatched.

Responding units: Engine 21, Tankers 22, 23, and 32, Brush 22. An Auto Aid Response was received from Columbia’s Engine 2, Tanker 1, & Battalion Chief along with Mount Pleasant Engine 82 and Assistant Chief.

Units arrived to find a pole barn with approximately 20 bales of hay and a truck on fire. Several tractors and ATV’s received heat damage but due to the prompt response of our auto aid departments, much of the equipment was salvaged.
