Rooftop Views: Great for Birds, Bad for Teens

During tonight’s First Friday, a few adventurous teenagers decided to take their evening to new heights by climbing onto the roof of a downtown business. Unfortunately, what goes up, sometimes needs a ladder truck to come back down.

�� We’d like to give a shoutout to our friends at the Florence Fire Rescue for bringing in the ladder for the assist! Everyone made it down safely, no injuries, just a good story and probably a lesson learned.

We get it! Rooftops look cool. But please, leave the climbing to Spider-Man. Downtown is plenty fun from ground level, and we’d like to keep it that way.
