On Saturday, November 8, step back in time at Sgt. Alvin C. York State Historic Park, where historians and interpreters will bring the World War I era to life.

See "over the top" battles at the trench, walk through camp and smell the smoke of the blacksmiths or camp kitchen, and experience what a Red Cross Hospital accomplished on the frontlines.
The event is free to the public and runs from 9 AM to 6:30 PM. From 5:30 to 6:30 PM, enjoy a specialty evening program called "Scenes From 1918.” Experience snapshots from the frontlines as you meander throughout the park grounds, viewing scenes of the Red Cross Hospital, camp, airfield, and trenches portrayed in living history.
For more information, visit the park's Facebook page. Come out and discover the stories of those who served!
