Neighbors Use Speakers To Deliberately Create A Nuisance
When law enforcement officers answered a harassment call home Monday, they found that the neighbors were using their stereo to deliberately create a nuisance.
The victim requested that deputies with the Lawrence County Sheriff's Department be dispatched to intervene at around 4:00 p.m.
Deputies report that before they were in sight of the home they could hear the loud music playing. They arrived to find the neighbors in the yard with two large speakers pointed toward the victim's house.
The victim told deputies that the neighbors had been playing their music very loudly for several hours before she called to report the matter. She said that this is an on-going issue.
The deputy warned the neighbors that, should they continue to play their music loudly, they could be issued a warning for disturbing the peace. Reports show that they were irate, but eventually all parties went back inside their homes.
