Maury County Fire Department responded to vehicle Extrication.

 

MCFD responded to a motor vehicle accident on Sunday, 11/2, on Theta Pike at 7PM. Responding units: Squad 32, Rescue 21, Engines 21 & 29, Deputy 20.

Units arrived to find a vehicle resting precariously on a steep embankment, barely held by a small tree.

Winches from Squad 32 and Rescue 21 were used to secure the vehicle. Both front doors of the vehicle were removed to gain access to the patient. A rope system was then utilized to bring the subject to the roadway.

The occupant was transported with non life threatening injuries. Special thanks to Maury Regional Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Tennessee Highway Patrol Troopers for assisting in the rescue.
