Loretto Man Arrested For Bringing Meth  To Jail
    
   A  Loretto man arrested at his Loretto home early Monday was later charged with  bringing methamphetamine to the jail. 
   Reports  filed through the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department show deputies, along  with officers of the Loretto Police Department, were attempting to locate  thirty-seven year old Brian Keith Gobble around 2:20 a.m. to serve a warrant  that had been issued for a parole violation. 
They were allowed to enter the  apartment he was in and report locating him, “Fully clothed, sitting on the  toilet, with a belt tied around his right bicep, holding a syringe which was  already fully inserted into (his) right forearm.” 
    
   Reports  show that Gobble was ordered to “slowly take the syringe out of his arm and  place it on the floor of the bathroom.” Deputies report that they explained the  consequences of non-compliance and that Gobble did as directed. 
   Gobble  was transported to the Lawrence County Detention Center for booking. While  there, reports show that two plastic baggies containing a total of 1.5 grams of  meth were found in his pocket.
   Gobble  was booked under the parole violation and was scheduled to be transferred into  the custody of the Tennessee Department of Corrections. He was additionally  charged with possession of Schedule II narcotics for the purpose of resale and  introduction of contraband into a penal facility. 
He has been scheduled an appearance in Lawrence County General Sessions Court on December 9, 2014.
