Lawrenceburg police officers responded to several reports of motor vehicle vandalism where one incident resulted in a shotgun being stolen.

Lawrenceburg police officers were dispatched to reports of motor vehicle vandalism involving two separate incidents that occurred on Sunday where rear windows were busted on both victim's vehicles.

Officers responded to the first incident on Glenn Springs Road around 10:21 a.m. where the male victim stated that someone had shattered his rear passenger window on his 2010 Ford F150 truck, and had stolen his Stoeger 12GA semi automatic shotgun.

The male victim provided proof of legal ownership of the shotgun that was valued at an estimated total loss of $650, and at the time of the report there was no current suspects in the case.

The 2nd incident officers responded to a residence on East Heights where the female victim told police that she was leaving for work when she noticed the rear window of her vehicle had been shattered, but did not believe that anything had been stolen.

Officers filed a report involving the vandalism where the female victim did give police a potential suspect's name, but at the time of the report no arrest had been made pending an investigation.
