Phone And Cable Lines Damaged By School Bus
Some service lines were downed early Monday when they were snagged by a school bus.
The bus driver requested that officers with the Lawrenceburg Police Department be dispatched to the 500 block of Fourth Street at around 7:20 a.m.
She told officers that the bus had struck the lines crossing the roadway in that area, causing them to fall onto the roadway.
Officers report that two AT&T telephone lines were damaged along with one line belonging to Charter Communications. Employees of both companies responded to the scene and removed the lines from the roadway. The bus sustained no damage.
