For Immediate Release:
Subject: Injury Crash with Entrapment

Shortly before 6:30PM on 10/29/2025 Lawrence County Fire Rescue units were dispatched to an automated crash detection notification on Prosser Road in the Leoma Fire District. Lawrence County E911 also advised that they had received a 911 call in the area but were only able to hear cries for help in the background.
During our response we were advised by dispatch that they had received information from a passerby on the scene that one patient was entrapped and that the vehicle was on fire. First arriving units located the vehicle in a field, barely visible from the roadway.
They found one of the three patients to have serious injuries, and one patient trapped inside the vehicle. The patient was quickly extricated from the vehicle by LCFR and EMA personnel. Initial reports from those involved in the crash indicated that there could be additional patients on the scene.
Deputies from the LCSO on the scene worked quickly to verify that there were only 3 patients while firefighters searched the area of the crash.
Lawrence County EMS responded with 3 Advanced Life Support units to provide advanced care and transport the injured. The crash is being investigated by the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
Responding LCFR units include Leoma Rescue 11, Crossroads Rescue 11, and Leoma Engine 12
