Wilson County Sheriff’s Office

On 10/27/2026 the Wilson County Sheriff's Office assisted with the execution of federal and state search warrants at two locations within Wilson County that served as critical hubs for the Sinaloa Cartel. Suspects were safely detained, and evidence is now being processed, with additional charges anticipated.

Sheriff Robert Bryan stated that, on behalf of the Wilson County Sheriff's Office and our local, state, and federal partners, we worked together to bring this investigation to a successful conclusion.

What began late last year as a local narcotics case grew into a multi-jurisdictional effort targeting a drug trafficking organization operating in Wilson and Davidson Counties. Through close collaboration with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), along with additional federal, state, and local partners, we dismantled a significant network linked to the Sinaloa Cartel. Large quantities of dangerous drugs and firearms were removed from our communities, and high-level distributors were taken into custody.

Key Results of the Investigation:

The investigation commenced in late 2025 by the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office in partnership with TBI and HSI.

It expanded from a drug trafficking case in Wilson and Davidson Counties into a multi-jurisdictional operation involving numerous agencies, including the FBI, DEA, IRS Criminal Investigation, USPIS, U.S. Secret Service, Tennessee Highway Patrol, Tennessee Department of Correction, and several other sheriff’s offices and police departments.

Seizures included approximately 500 kilograms of methamphetamine, 20 kilograms of fentanyl, 60 kilograms of cocaine, 6 kilograms of marijuana, more than $375,000 in cash, multiple firearms, and vehicles.

The investigation led to arrests and federal indictments of 24 individuals involved in the organization, which operated from September 2025 to September 2026, including leaders who allegedly directed operations from within Tennessee Department of Correction facilities.

The Wilson County Sheriff’s Office provided extensive technical and physical support that enabled complex surveillance and tactical operations. This outcome reflects the dedicated work of every agency and individual involved. These operations remove dangerous substances and individuals from our communities and protect public safety.

The results we are announcing today show what is possible when law enforcement agencies at every level set aside jurisdictional lines and work as one team. Continued partnership among local, state, and federal partners is essential if we are to identify, disrupt, and ultimately bring these criminal organizations to justice more effectively. Only by sharing information, resources, and expertise can we stay ahead of those who traffic in drugs and violence, and that is the standard we will continue to meet.

This is the result of coordinated multi-agency work protecting our communities. #WilsonCounty #PublicSafety
