Connecting Forward Program Presented at Lawrenceburg Rotary. Freddie Friend, Workforce Development Coach from Goodwill Industries presented an interesting program on Connecting Forward at the Lawrenceburg Rotary Club on Friday,

October 25, 2024. Connecting Forward is a pilot program designed to assist Middle Tennessee families connect with public and private resources in order to meet family goals.

The program is a partnership of multiple public and private organizations that provide various forms of family assistance and is supported by grants from Vanderbilt University and the University of Tennessee. Goodwill Industries provides Workforce Training and Employment Coaching within the program and MS Friend covers a seven-county area including Lawrence.

768 families including 17 from Lawrence County participated in the program last year.
