Police: Truck, driver in deadly Lawrence Co. hit-and-run located

(UPDATE: Oct. 26 at 6:45 PM) -- Investigation underway after suspect in deadly Lawrence County hit-and-run crash found.

The truck and driver have both been located, the Loretto Police Department reports. The investigation is ongoing.

LORETTO, Tenn. (WZTV) -- A pedestrian is killed in a hit-and-run in Lawrence County early this morning.

The deadly crash occurred in the city of Loretto on U.S. Highway 43 near Smith Circle just before 2:30 a.m. Saturday. The public's assistance is requested by the Tennessee Highway Patrol in finding the driver.
