Early Voting Period Draws To A Close  On Thursday
    
   The  two week early voting period for the November 4 State and Federal General  Elections, as well as city elections in Lawrenceburg and Saint Joseph, draws to  a close on Thursday. 
     Three seats appear on the ballot for the City of Lawrenceburg election, including  two council seats and that of mayor. Saint Joseph voters are asked to select  two individuals to serve on that city’s Board of Commissioners.    
     At the state level voters will select from candidates vying for U.S. Senate,  Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, U.S. Representative, State  Senator, and State Representative. To see a sample ballot visit:

     To participate in early voting stop by the offices of the Lawrence County  Election Commission on Centennial Boulevard between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and  4:00 p.m. 
    State law requires that voters present a photo ID whether  voting during the early voting period or at the polls on Election Day.
