Sunday Crash Claims One Life
A crash that occurred on Ethridge Red Hill Road Sunday afternoon claimed the life of a Lawrence County man.
Reports filed through the Tennessee Highway Patrol show that the crash occurred at around 1:50 p.m. Motorcyclist Terry F. Campbell, age 54, was reportedly eastbound when a 2001 Nissan Xterra driven by Ethridge resident Raymond B. Reichard, age 28, crossed the center line and struck him head-on.
A second motorcyclist, Elizabeth B. Campbell, 53, also of Lawrence County was able to stop before striking either of the vehicles.
Both Reichard and Elizabeth Campbell sustained injuries in the crash. Terry Campbell died as the result of injuries he sustained.
The accident report shows that citations and criminal charges have been issued.
