A man in Lawrenceburg was arrested on Wednesday, October 23rd, after police responded to a report of an unwanted person on private property.
Officers identified the individual as Bobby Lovell, who was already on probation for aggravated burglary.
The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Lawrenceburg Fire Department and Emergency Operations Center, collaborated to locate and apprehend Lovell.
He reportedly resisted arrest, stating he wouldn’t return to jail without a struggle. However, with the assistance of hostage negotiator CID Ray Chavez and a drone, authorities were able to find him and take him into custody.
In addition to his existing charges of evading arrest and probation violation, Lovell now faces charges of assaulting a police officer and additional counts of evading arrest.
