SHS Lady Eagles Finish Final Four In State
The Summertown High School Lady Eagles volleyball team finished their season placing Fourth in the TSSAA Class A State Tournament.
The Lady Eagles defeated Middleton 25-16, 25-10,25-16 in the first round of the tournament. Makenzie Kilburn led the Eagles with 15 kills and five blocks.
The Lady Eagles then were defeated by Goodpasture High School placing them in the loser’s bracket for Thursday’s matches.
The Lady Eagles rallied back by defeating Knoxville Grace Academy 25-14, 25-20, and 26-24. Kilburn again led all scores with 18 kills and 3 blocks.
The Summertown Lady Eagles were defeated by South Greene in the quarterfinal round placing them fourth in the TSSAA Class A volleyball State Tournament.
