Officers with the Pulaski Police Dept. along with PPDs Criminal Investigations Unit responded to a shots fired call in the area of McGrew and Alexander Street.

When units arrived, they found one 34-year-old male victim with a gunshot wound. Officers were able to obtain information that led them to 839 Brown Drive where 48-year-old Marcus Orlando Williams was taken into custody.

Williams was booked into the Giles County Jail where he was charged with Attempted First-Degree murder, Aggravated Assault, Reckless Endangerment, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Evading Arrest, and Resisting Arrest. Williams is currently being held without bond pending court.

The Male victim was treated by Giles County EMS with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing and more arrests are possible. The case is being led by PPD Investigator Lake Foster.
