A Lawrence County man was arrested after a theft was reported Wednesday night,

October 15, at Fall River Market on Fall River Road. According to the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department, deputies responded to the store around 7:45 p.m. after receiving a call about a robbery in progress.

Investigators said Phillip Wayne Willis was seen on security video stealing two packs of “7tabz” pills valued at $60.

The empty packages were found in a trash can near his vehicle. Willis was charged with theft of property and taken to the Lawrence County Jail. Deputies said he was also trespassed from the property at the store owner’s request
