Wednesday Crime Report
Vandalism
An Ethridge Redhill Road resident reported to deputies Saturday that her Ford Fusion car had sustained around $1,000 worth of damage at the hands of vandals. Reports show that the car appeared to have been keyed resulting in damage to the paint. Someone had also kicked a door, causing a dent.
Aggravated burglary
A resident of Blooming Grove Road in Five Points called deputies to her home Saturday after discovering that it had been targeted by burglars. A window air conditioning unit was missing along with a trunk and light fixture. The culprit entered the outbuilding, making off with bottle jacks, fish cooker, camping tent, aluminum ladder, push mower and a well pump. Deputies found pry and kick marks around the doors. One storm window had been broken apart and was found lying on the ground. Loss and damages were said to total $4,200.
Burglary
Police officers answered a burglary call to a Kramer Avenue home Saturday afternoon. The victim reported that sometime between 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and 5:30 p.m. Saturday someone had entered his 1999 Ford F150 truck, stealing a tool bag filled with miscellaneous hand tools and a laptop computer. Loss was estimated at $1,885.
