Alabama Police identify suspect in Saturday night shooting.

Muscle Shoals authorities have confirmed to Shoals Insider that a man is in custody and is expected to face a first-degree assault charge following a shooting Saturday night on Williams Street.
Authorities say 45-year-old Jason Steve Dickerson reportedly walked into a home on the 100 block of Williams Street and found his spouse there with 46-year-old Jason Glenn Kimbrough.
The two men began arguing, at which point Kimbrough allegedly produced a handgun and shot Dickerson in the chest. Kimbrough later turned himself ln to police.
When Muscle Shoals police and first responders arrived, they located Dickerson in front of the home suffering from a single gunshot wound. He was transported to North Alabama Medical Center and later transferred to Huntsville Hospital, where officials say he is expected to make a full recovery.
Kimbrough is currently being held in the Muscle Shoals municipal jail and is expected to be transferred to the Colbert County Jail on Monday, where he will formally face charges of Assault in the First Degree and Discharging a Firearm Inside City Limits.
