Detectives with the Columbia Police Department along with the FBI arrested a male suspect wanted on charges of attempted first degree murder.

The Columbia Police Department released the following information regarding the arrest of attempted murder suspect:

"Columbia Police Department Detectives have been aggressively working to locate and apprehend thirty-two year old Quortez Deshawn Duncan on charges of attempted first degree murder and weapons offenses, stemming from an incident in December 2019.

On Monday, October 19th, Columbia Detectives with the assistance of the FBI, located Duncan in Nashville, TN where he was taken into custody without incident.

Duncan was charged with attempted first degree murder, weapons offenses and violation of probation. Duncan is currently being held in the Maury County Jail with no bond."
