SOME KIDS NEED TO KNOW THEIR COMMUNITY HASN’T FORGOTTEN THEM.

That’s the heart of Operation Hard Candy Christmas.
The Lawrenceburg Police Department is proud to announce Operation Hard Candy Christmas, bringing together officers from Lawrenceburg, Loretto, St. Joseph, and Ethridge Police Departments in partnership with the Lawrence County Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition to bring Christmas joy to children right here in Lawrence County.
Officers will take children on a special Christmas shopping trip. Our hope is that each child leaves with more than gifts—with a happy memory, a new connection, and the knowledge that there are people in their community who care about them.
Every child deserves to feel remembered. Every child deserves something to look forward to. And every child deserves to experience the joy of Christmas.
Our fundraising goal is $12,000, and we’re asking our community to help make this happen. Whether you’re an individual, a business, a church, or a community organization, your contribution can help put a smile on a child’s face and make this Christmas a little brighter.
