Killen Man Arrested for Shooting into Occupied Homes

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Killen man in connection with a series of shootings into occupied residences last month.

According to Sheriff Joe Hamilton, 31-year-old Seth Lee Kimbrough was arrested on October 9, 2025, and charged with three counts of shooting into an occupied dwelling.

Kimbrough is being held at the Lauderdale County Detention Center on a $90,000 bond. The arrest follows an investigation into gunfire that struck three separate homes during the early morning hours of September 14, 2025.

Investigators executed four search warrants, which led to the collection of cell phone and vehicle data and the seizure of multiple firearms. According to a report by WAAY 31, Kimbrough is a former Killen Police officer. Authorities say the investigation remains active, and no further details are being released at this time.
