A female at a local residence flagged down a Lawrenceburg police officer that was patrolling the area, and handed the officer a counterfeit $100 bill.

 

A Lawrenceburg police officer was on patrol when a female at a local residence flagged down the officer stating that she had found a $100 counterfeit bill on the ground in front of Trader's Corner.

The female told the officer that she had contacted dispatch earlier, but due to police being out on other calls she was unable to file a report.

The counterfeit $100 was seized by the police officer, and at the time of the report there was no further details released.
