9-year-old Alabama boy is still searching for donor as he battles kidney failure.

Ruger of Ardmore, Alabama is battling stage 5 kidney failure, and every since his diagnosis, his family has been desperately searching for a kidney donor.

Ruger’s mom, Haley Schrimsher, is very thankful for the news coverage that helps get the word out for potential donors through applications.

Now, doctors have found someone who is a medically perfect match for Ruger who is a complete stranger that is just wanting to do an act of kindness, but sadly the donor does not meet weight requirement to donate.

So while the donor tries to hit a BMI under 30, Schrimsher said they are playing the waiting game, and Ruger continues to wait for a potential donor.

We would like to pray over Ruger that this donor can meet weight, and/or another kidney donor shows up soon.
