Maury County Fire Department responded to a wreck where the motorist had struck a broken down vehicle, and then rolled several times.
According to the Maury County Fire Department they responded to a wreck on I-65 at mile marker 46.5 North bound along with responding units Rescue 1, Engine 10, Car 10, District Chief 1, Div Chief Johnson, and Asst Chief Periut.
Upon arrival units discovered that the motorist was entraped inside their car after hitting a broken down vehicle, and then rolling several times.
Units were able to safely extract the motorist where they were transported for medical treatment with reports of non life threatening injuries.
Rescue 1 then cleared the roadway so the Tennessee Highway Patrol could reopen the interstate.
