VFW Quartermaster Charged with Theft of Property

On August 15th, the State of Tennessee issued a warrant for arrest for Gregory Taylor, quartermaster of the VFW in Lawrenceburg,

for theft of property ($10,000 to $60,000) from allegedly withdrawing $14,000 from the VFW Post 1618 bank account. By September 10th,

a bond was posted of $20,000 and a criminal hearing was held. The case has been rescheduled for November 19th at 9:00 in General Sessions Court.
