Thursday Crime Report
Burglary
Officials report that property belonging to Summertown Youth Football League was stolen during a burglary that occurred between Monday and Tuesday. The items were taken from a storage building located on East College Street. The perpetrator reportedly pried open doors in order to gain entry. Some $1,495 worth of items, including coolers, extension cords, shirts, concession items, and cash were reported stolen.
Theft
Officials representing a Lawrenceburg market reported that on two separate occasions Tuesday, persons had pumped gasoline into their vehicles, then drove away without paying. The first incident, reported to police officers around 6:00 a.m., involved a gray Chevrolet SUV bearing a New Jersey license plate. The second incident involved a Black Honda.
