Wednesday Crime Report 
    
    Vandalism 
    
Deputies were called to  a Lexington Highway, Loretto property Monday where the resident reported that  around midnight his gate, post, and the sides of his concrete bridge had been  damaged. The deputy noted marks that “looked like someone used a vehicle and  hit the gate, bending it and pulling the post out of the concrete.” The deputy  reported finding spin marks in the gravel, as well. Damages were assessed at  $5,000.
Theft 
A Ruger 380 pistol was  reported stolen from a Dunn Leoma Road property last week. The owner reported  that the pistol had been stolen from a side door pocket of her truck. The  pistol was valued at $500.
Vandalism 
A resident of South Ore  Road in West Point reported to deputies last week that the previous day he had  watched as a burgundy color truck drove by his residence. He said that as the  truck passed one of the occupants threw an orange clay target which struck his  mailbox. He said that he was uncertain about the make or model of the truck. He  reported that the mailbox had sustained only minimal damage. 
Theft 
A victim of a theft  reported to deputies Saturday that ahis surround sound system had been stolen  from his sister’s Alexander Lane, Ethridge, home. He said that the system had  been stolen sometime between 6:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Loss was estimated at  $300.
Theft 
Pain medication was  reported missing from a resident of Ethridge’s Waterfork Road on Saturday. He  told deputies that several of his Fentanyl pain patches had gone missing from  his home. He told deputies that one patch had gone missing the previous week,  but that he thought he might have miscounted. He said that when he went to open  a new box he found that it had been opened and six patches were missing. The  culprit had taken the time to re-glue the package in the hopes of avoiding  detection. 
Theft 
Deputies were called  upon to investigate Saturday after a South Hood Road resident discovered that  his Ruger Mark II target pistol was missing. The gun had an estimated value of  $400.
Theft 
A patron at the Middle  Tennessee District Fair last week reported to deputies that her purse had been  stolen. The victim said that she laid her purse down to look at a T-shirt and  that someone stole it after she turned her back for a moment. Loss was said to  be $180.
