First Street resident reports substantial damages when car and home are egged

A resident of First Street filed a complaint with Lawrenceburg Police officers, last week saying that someone had egged his car and home, resulting in damages

The victim said that he had discovered where someone had thrown eggs on his 2012 Chevrolet Cruz, causing damage to the paint. Also, his front door had been kicked open and an egg busted on his coffee table.

Damages were estimated to total $1,300. The victim told officers that he had noticed a man with whom he had difficulties in the past, who was near his home the previous night.

He said he saw the man throw an egg toward his car, but that it didn’t hit it. He suspected that the man was responsible for the damages
